Block42 attended the PitchEd on 24th May. PitchEd is a NSW Government initiative in collaboration with the NSW Department of Education, Study NSW, Jobs for NSW, The Sydney Startup Hub, Sydney EduTech Group and EduGrowth.
The event was great and so well organised. It was such a great opportunity for Block42 to tell the industry what we are doing and how we would love to empower teachers to teach STEAM, to engage students, to encourage active learning and peer learning, and to bring the modern education to a higher level. The solution we provide is revolutionary and we have very high standards on the product and service we deliver.
NESA, AUSTRADE, NSW EDT, STEAM Educators and other global educational institutions all expressed their great interests in partnering with/supporting us. We are meeting NESA to look at how to best align with the current Syllabus and Curriculum and even make teaching more effective by integrating school subjects into our teaching tool. We are having meetings with UWS School of Education and Dr. Wade-Leeuwen from MQ Uni to discuss how to bring the best potentials out of our product.
For the next step, we would love to run workshops with all different types of schools to get feedback and refine our product. We are participating EdTech competition on the 7th June at ICC and a global pitch competition held in Melbourne and Pitching at the Launch Festival on the 18th-19th June. We are also very pleased to be mentored by Startmate on business and have applied to join their accelerator program.
All education innovation should be focused on the future of work. We are so proud to have the privilege to lead the changes in the education industry and prepare talents for the future Australian workforce ahead of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
